Dieticians

Responsibilities:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of client's nutritional needs, including analysing their dietary habits, medical history, and lifestyle factors.
• Developing personalised meal plans and providing dietary recommendations to clients based on their specific health goals and conditions.
• Monitoring and evaluating the progress of clients, making adjustments to their meal plans as needed.
• Providing nutritional counselling and education to clients, helping them understand the importance of healthy eating habits and lifestyle choices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from a recognized institution.
• Accreditation as an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) by the Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA).
• Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Dietitian.
• Strong knowledge of Australian health and professional standards, including the DAA Code of Professional Conduct and the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, healthcare professionals, and other members of the healthcare team.
• The ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience in conducting nutritional assessments, developing meal plans, and providing counselling to clients in a clinical setting.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the latest research and developments in the field of nutrition and dietetics.
